Opening Reception of the US Debut Exhibition "What Was He Thinking?"

It was a lively turnout for the opening reception in celebration of the US debut exhibition What Was He Thinking? Jan Balet: Watercolors & Lithographs, the collection of Michael & Alison Paolercio. The exhibition features lithographs and associated watercolor renderings by German-born artist Jan Balet (1913-2009). Balet’s masterful lithography features the artist’s humorous and personal perceptions of human relationships and situations. It also includes several large paintings and many miniature watercolors Balet painted as part of his inspirational process.

The exhibition will be at the ArtReach Gallery in Portland, Oregon through January 14, 2018. It will then travel to the Burke Gallery, Plattsburgh State Art Museum, Plattsburgh, New York in February 2018 and the SUNY Adirondack Visual Arts Gallery, Queensbury, New York in September 2018.
